Makita Battery Charger Question

A quick question... I am getting my brother to bring home a Makita 14.4V Cordless Impact Driver Model 6935FDWDE from the good Ol US of A.
It works out about half the cost of getting it here.

All I need is a 240/110 Vac converter. But I need to know what wattage to get.

If anyone there has a Makita DC1804 Universal battery charger, could they let me know what the input wattage is?

Ah, but what watt

Do I need a 100watt for a bettery charger, or 200watt, or more?
Or better still - can anyone who has a makita universal charger check to see what the input voltage is ?

Will it just work with 220/240 VAC?

My 18 volt Makita charger says 240 watts, if that helps any.
My makita charger, DC1413, says 60W and 120VAC supply voltage. If I had a few more minutes I would take the cover off and see if there isn't a jumper on the inside that sets it to 220 V in. It really might be that simple.

When I lived in the UK and used US equipment, we found the Radio Shack transformers to be the best for most small uses -- far better than some of the custom transformers I picked up at electronic specality stores over here before I left..

I'm almost stating the obvious but I should have clarified that the transformers come in different sizes. Always make sure it's rated for more than that particular charger.
